Grapefruit - Citrus paradise for weight loss

Regular use of citrus protects the body from the absence of enzymes, vitamins and mineral salts in the winter. Grapefruit, also called paradise citrus, possess excellent properties in obesity, atherosclerosis, hypertension, decreased digestion.

 Grapefruit is suitable for fruit diet and a great source of vitamin C - strengthens the immune system. The fruit is rich in fiber and satiate hunger, but with fewer calories. Citrus fruit accelerates metabolism and reduces insulin levels.

 Another benefit of grapefruit is that it reduces cholesterol and improves digestion. So a glass of grapefruit juice for breakfast will give a great and refreshing start to the day.

 Juices of citrus fruits diversify various nutritional and medicinal diets and enrich them. Grapefruit juice is very helpful in removing cellulite and is rich in antioxidants. The juice is highly palatable and can be given to children and sick people who do not like the bitterness of the whole fruit.

Of course, like all citrus and grapefruit manifests its advantages when used within reasonable limits. Acids contained in it may increase symptoms in peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum.
